This Privacy Policy applies to Neptune Cash Wallet, package name com.npt.wallet. Neptune Cash Wallet is a self-custody mobile wallet for the Neptune Cash network.

Summary

Neptune Cash Wallet does not collect, sell, or share your seed phrase, private keys, password, PIN, contacts, location, photos, microphone data, camera data, or advertising identifiers. Wallet secrets are created, imported, encrypted, and stored locally on your device.

Wallet Secrets

Your seed phrase and private wallet material are never sent to our servers. The app stores encrypted wallet data on your device. You are responsible for safely backing up your seed phrase. If you lose the seed phrase, the wallet developer cannot recover your funds.

Local App Data

The app may store wallet-related data locally on your device, including encrypted seed data, wallet state, outgoing transaction history, settings, and cached session information. This data is used to provide wallet functionality and remains on your device unless you delete the wallet data or uninstall the app.

Network and Blockchain Data

Neptune Cash Wallet connects to Neptune Cash supporter/RPC services to sync wallet state, check blockchain data, and submit transactions. These services may receive network information such as your IP address, request timing, requested blockchain data, and submitted transaction data. The app does not send your seed phrase, private keys, password, or PIN to those services.

Blockchain transactions may become visible to the Neptune Cash network according to the Neptune Cash protocol. Data written to a blockchain may be public, persistent, and difficult or impossible to delete.

Analytics, Ads, and Tracking

Neptune Cash Wallet does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs in this version. The app does not sell personal data.

Third-Party Services

The app may connect to Neptune Cash network infrastructure or supporter nodes needed for wallet functionality. If you use a third-party supporter node, that third party's privacy practices may apply to network requests handled by that service.

Data Deletion

Neptune Cash Wallet does not create an online account for you. To remove local wallet data, delete the wallet from inside the app where available, clear the app's storage through Android system settings, or uninstall the app. Make sure your seed phrase is backed up before deleting local wallet data.

Children

Neptune Cash Wallet is not directed to children. The app is intended for users who are old enough to manage self-custody digital assets under the laws that apply to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
